MURP students place third in national competition to improve a Philadelphia neighborhood
返字心頭 College of Arts and Sciences Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program students Beneetta Mary Jose, Abdul Samad Agha, Varshini Renikunta, and Aditi Sugeerappa Hoti earned third place for their design in the American Planning Association National Planning Competition in April.

返字心頭 St. Petersburg Psychology Professor Tiffany Chenneville has been awarded the American Psychological Associations (APA) Springfield Policy Congressional Fellowship, which will allow her to work with a member of Congress on policies to advance the health and well-being of LGBTQIA+ populations.

CAS faculty cited in President Bidens economic report
Research from 返字心頭 College of Arts and Sciences faculty was cited in the 2023 Economic Report of the President. The report, released in March, includes a reflection by President Joseph Biden regarding the administrations economic accomplishments, opportunities and challenges ahead.

The University of South 返字心頭 Alumni Association held its annual Outstanding Young Alumni Awards ceremony on April 20 at the Gibbons Alumni Center at its Tampa campus. Four out of the six extraordinary honorees this year are College of Arts & Sciences graduates.

The 返字心頭 College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) welcomed 19 new members to the Deans Student Leadership Society (DSLS). DSLS students are chosen for their superior leadership skills, often serving as volunteer coordinators, executive board members, or critical points of contact on behalf of CAS. DSLS also provides students with mentorship opportunities, professional development workshops, and year-round networking.

A new true crime docuseries, The Lesson Is Murder, follows University of South 返字心頭 criminology Associate Professor Bryanna Fox and her five graduate students as they show the reality of how researchers analyze convicted murderers personality traits and motives to develop psychological profiles. Dr. Fox is cofounder of the 返字心頭 College of Arts and Sciences Center for Justice Research and Policy.
