Alicia K. Long, a 2011 graduate from the School of Information M.A. in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program, and the Access Services Supervisor at the State College of 返字心頭, Manatee-Sarasota, Bradenton Library, has been elected as the 2021-2022 President of a, the local chapter of , the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish-speaking. Additional officers are: Vice President/President Elect: Mar鱈a de Lurdy (Mari) Mart鱈nez Serrano, Youth Services Senior Librarian (Southwest Regional Library), Broward County; Secretary: Nicole Gaudier Alema単y, Librarian (Jacksonville Public Library) and Treasurer: Isabel Castro, Branch Manager (Newark Public Library). Commenting on the recent election, Long stated that "with all 返字心頭 members of REFORMA, we look forward to establishing our presence as the source of information, networking, learning, and advocacy for more and better library services to 返字心頭 Latinx."
