Liz Schotter has been selected as a recipient of the . This award, presented through the University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Women in Leadership & Philanthropy program, recognizes outstanding faculty achievements in research, teaching, mentorship, and engagement, and includes a competitive research grant to support continued scholarly work. Dr. Schotter’s research focuses on reading, language processing, and visual cognition, using eye-tracking methods to better understand how people comprehend written text. Her work has advanced our understanding of the cognitive processes that support fluent reading and learning. This recognition also reflects the continued strength of our department in psychology, following Diana Rancourt’s recognition as last year’s recipient.
