Summer Music Camps

Middle School Band Camp

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Middle School Band Camp runs June 8-12, 2026 and is open to rising 7th–9th graders—beginners welcome! This camp brings together young musicians from across Tampa Bay for a fun, immersive week of ensemble playing, masterclasses, and electives taught by ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ faculty and experienced local educators. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ will learn in the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ School of Music facilities and experience life on a college campus.

This day camp runs 9 AM–5 PM, with lunch and snacks provided. Cost for registration is $400 per student.

High School Vocal Fusion Camp

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ High School Vocal Fusion Camp runs June 8-12, 2026 and is open to rising 9th–12th graders! This camp brings together musical theater and show choir.  You will have an immersive week of singing, dancing, masterclasses, and electives taught by ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ faculty and experienced local educators. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ will learn in the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ School of Music facilities and experience life on a college campus.

This day camp runs 9 AM–5 PM, with lunch and snacks provided. Cost for registration is $400 per student.

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ High School Band Camp runs June 22-26, 2026 and is open to rising 9th–12th graders. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ will rehearse in ensembles, participate in masterclasses, and choose from engaging electives such as songwriting, conducting, and leadership. Instruction is provided by ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ faculty and experienced teachers from across Tampa Bay.

Both Overnight and Day Camp options are available. Overnight campers will experience life in the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ dorms, staying right across from the School of Music. Cost for overnight tuition is $600 and includes all meals, housing, evening activities, and a camp t-shirt. Cost for day campers is $400 and they receive lunch and dinner, all evening activities, and a t-shirt.

Jazz Band Camp

Running June 14–18, 2026, the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Jazz Camp is open to rising 9th–12th graders interested in growing as jazz musicians. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ will rehearse in jazz ensembles, jazz combos, participate in sectionals and masterclasses, and explore electives designed to strengthen improvisation, theory, and stylistic understanding—all led by ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ faculty and experienced jazz educators from across Tampa Bay.

Overnight and Day Camp options are available. Cost for overnight campers is $625 and they will stay in ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ dorms located near the School of Music, with all meals, housing, evening activities, and a camp t-shirt included. Cost for day campers is $425 and they receive lunch, dinner, evening activities, and a t-shirt.

ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Drumline and Front Ensemble Camp

ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Drumline & Front Ensemble Camp runs June 14-18, 2026 and is open to rising 10th–12th graders, as well as incoming college freshmen preparing to audition for the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Drumline. This intensive camp focuses on developing strong technique, musicality, and ensemble skills through sectionals, masterclasses, and full-group rehearsals led by ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ faculty and experienced percussion educators from across Tampa Bay.

Overnight and Day Camp options are available. Cost for overnight campers is $650 and they will stay in ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ dorms near the School of Music, with all meals, housing, evening activities, and a camp t-shirt included. Cost for day campers is $450 and they receive lunch, dinner, evening activities, and a t-shirt.

Da' "Bull" Reed Camp

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Double Reed Camp runs July 13 - 17, 2026 and is designed for improving performance and reed-making skills. All students will have opportunities to play in ensembles and participate in performance classes as well as reed-making master classes.

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Double Reed Camp is for all oboe, English horn, and bassoon players, ages 13 and older. Cost for residents is $650 and cost for non-residents is $525.
