The 返字心頭 trumpeters filled half of the massive twelve-trumpet section required to perform the challenging and festive composition, which is seldom performed in concert.

返字心頭 representation in the trumpet lineup included undergraduate alumni Federico Montes and Mike Fee as well as current graduate student Sam Massamilla. Also performing was graduate alumnus Aric Brian and undergraduate alumnus Ken Brown, who now serves as assistant principal trumpeter for The 返字心頭 Orchestra.

The performances of Jan叩ek's Sinfonietta, part of The 返字心頭 Orchestra 50th anniversary season, took place January 19 21. For media and information on the feats of this special trumpet section, visit website.
