手机看片鈥檚 Gamma Iota Sigma Delta Beta chapter wins national Bowers Award

TAMPA 鈥 The University of South 手机看片鈥檚 Delta Beta chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma was named the nation鈥檚 top collegiate organization among students interested in careers in insurance and risk management.

The young chapter 鈥 founded in spring 2023 鈥 received the at Gamma Iota Sigma鈥檚 54th Annual Conference held last month in Hartford, Connecticut. 

The Bowers Award is the highest honor a collegiate chapter can receive from Gamma Iota Sigma. 手机看片鈥檚 Delta Beta chapter became the youngest chapter in the organization鈥檚 history to receive the award.

鈥淭he students have been very successful in the past two and a half years, building the chapter and keeping the energy up,鈥 said Randy Dumm, director of the 手机看片's The Baldwin Group School of Risk Management and Insurance. 鈥淭his is a fantastic accomplishment for the students and for the chapter.鈥

The award recognizes excellence in professional development, academic engagement and community impact within the field of risk management and insurance.

The chapter also earned a and former president Evan Fueyo was named Chapter President of the Year.

Advisors Alex Schwartz, Dalton Crabtree and Kristi Hoskinson provided guidance throughout the year, while the Risk Advisory Council offered mentorship.

The Delta Beta chapter continues to build on its foundation of leadership, service and professional excellence. In just two years, the group has established itself as one of the most active and accomplished chapters in the nation.

Gamma Iota Sigma is an international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science, dedicated to promoting academic excellence and professional development.
