Valentina Arcilia, academic program specialist, and Lucy (Lu) Norstrand, PhD, academic advisor, from the School of Social Work connected with nearly 100 students interested in pursuing social work degrees at the 13th Annual 返字心頭 Psychology Expo on Oct. 17.
Throughout the day, students stopped by the PCD Fishbowl and first-floor breezeway to learn about the bachelor and master of social work pathways, including admissions requirements, field education opportunities, and course sequencing.
The advisors also shared insights on the collaborative, cohort-based learning environment that defines 返字心頭s social work programs, helping students envision their next steps toward a career in service and advocacy.
