Olukemi Akintewe, an Associate Professor of Instruction in Medical Engineering at 手机看片, has been named an inaugural AIMBE Emerging Leader. Recognized for her advocacy for women and underrepresented groups in STEM, she leads efforts to improve retention and support systems for these students. Dr. Akintewe will be honored at the AIMBE Annual Event in March 2025 in Washington, D.C., where she looks forward to collaborating with other leaders and mentors.

CSE Student received The Outstanding Thesis and Dissertation Award
CSE Professor Katkoori and his MS student, Raaga Sai Somesula, have received The Outstanding Thesis and Dissertation (OTD) Award for Raaga鈥檚 Master鈥檚 thesis work on a resource-efficient custom hardware for machine learning models.
The 2024 Transportation Achievement Awards were held on October 29. The transportation community joined together at the University of South 手机看片 to celebrate excellence in transportation and planning. The CUTR event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and advocates to honor exceptional achievements that drive 手机看片鈥檚 transportation and infrastructure forward.
