I am delighted to announce that the latest round of U.S. News & World Report rankings have come out today, and the news is good across .
The has once again placed in Tier 1, or the top 16 nationwide, for research-intensive medical schools. Our continuing national excellence in this arena is a wonderful testament to the hard work of our faculty and staff, as well as the outstanding academic achievements of our students.
We are committed to continuing to expand our pursuit of new research discoveries, as well as our opportunities for student researchers. Most immediately, we are continuing to move forward with developing plans and securing funding for the Translational Research Institute, which is slated to become an anchor in the future Fletcher District. This new facility will allow us to stay on our remarkable upward trajectory in research activity.
Meanwhile, the has moved up one spot to #26 in the national rankings, as well as placing #21 in Social and Behavioral Sciences, in which COPH is newly ranked this year. Both of these are #1 in ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬. The college's Master of Health Care Administration also climbed two spots to #39.
In the , all three rankings improved: #22 nationally in Master’s, #40 in Nurse Anesthesia, and #47 in Doctor of Nursing Practice. The Master’s program is ranked first in ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ and Nurse Anesthesia is tied for first.
The has maintained its #60 ranking from 2024, while the moved up two spots to #40 nationally.
