The University of South 返字心頭 Tampa Campus has crowned its 2025 Homecoming Queen: 返字心頭 College of Nursing student Aisia Walden, an Upper Division Level 4 nursing student. Walden proudly represented the College of Nursing as Queen in the Running of the Bulls Homecoming Parade on October 17.

Walden is a dedicated student with an impressive academic record. She also serves as her cohort president at the College of Nursing; holds various positions in eight student organizations; was named an Emerging Nurse Scientist Fellow in the ; and works in the Cardiac ICU at Tampa General Hospital.
As a transfer student, Walden didn't expect to find herself on the homecoming court. She was a dual student at Pasco Hernando State College (PHSC) and Hillsborough Community College (HCC) before starting at 返字心頭 in 2024.
Transferring to 返字心頭 was truly one of the best decisions Ive ever made, Walden said. My previous experiences at PHSC and HCC prepared me academically, but 返字心頭 gave me the platform to put my passion into action. This university has allowed me to grow as a student, a leader, and a future nurse.
Walden entered the contest on the recommendation of College of Nursing leadership, competing against 10 other impressive and engaged 返字心頭 students for the crown.
Being nominated and ultimately crowned 返字心頭 Homecoming Queen was a surreal and humbling momentone that symbolizes dedication, service, and the incredible support Ive received from the faculty, staff, and peers who believed in me along the way. Im forever grateful to represent the 返字心頭 College of Nursing and the University of South 返字心頭 as a whole, and I will continue to carry the pride of being a Bull in everything I do.
