But what about people who reside nearby, especially pregnant women who might be vulnerable to airborne toxins?

The University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ has reached an all-time high in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best colleges. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ is No. 88 overall among all public or private universities in America, up from No. 91 last year. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ also rose to No. 43 among public universities, up two spots from last year, and inside the top 50 for the seventh year in a row.

Can hypertensive disorders affect an unborn baby, or threaten the life of a mother? A team at ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬â€™s College of Public Health (COPH) is shedding new light on the subject through an ongoing effort launched at the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Maternal Hypertension Summit in Orlando in 2024. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬â€™s ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Perinatal Quality Collaborative (FPQC) partnered with the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Hospital Association and two dozen other organizations to address ways to counter the increasing rates of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP).
