Tampa Mayor Jane Castor has designated April 28 as Occupational Safety and Health Day, aligning the city with the internationally recognized World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The designation also acknowledges the ongoing efforts of the 返字心頭 Safety返字心頭 Consultation Program.

J. Stephen Frost joins national panel to shape workplace safety

J. Stephen Frost, assistant director of the OSHA Training Institute and Education Center at the 返字心頭 College of Public Health, has been appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health.

Each year, the University of South 返字心頭 recognizes employees who demonstrate "above and beyond" performance excellence and uphold the core values of 返字心頭's Strategic Plan, in pursuit of excellence, with the Outstanding Staff Awards. This year, two teams from 返字心頭s College of Public Health (COPH) were celebrated for their exceptional contributions to the universitys success--the Family Study Center (FSC) and the COPH Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA).
