Visit from Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont:
Following a recent visit from Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont to a business analytics discussing AI applications in the workplace, Fairfield Dolan continues to develop AI initiatives. Governor Lamont discussed with students the value of AI – and how they tackle AI ethics in their decision-making.
Launch of Fairfield Dolan’s Artificial Intelligence and Technology Institute:
On Monday, April 28, the Charles F. Dolan School of Business launched its Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Tech Institute, a groundbreaking new initiative at the intersection of technology, creativity, and innovation. Speakers at the launch event included economist and Nobel laureate Myron Scholes, PhD, who joined via Zoom. Learn more about the launch event.
AI Generated Films:
At the April 28th launch even, five students showcased their AI-generated short films, produced as part of their coursework.

Stephen Edison ’03, managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) led the spring 2025 Dolan Dean's Executive Forum in a conversation titled “From Algorithms to Impact: AI Trends in a Consulting Career.”
As part of the Dean's Executive Forum series at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Edison spoke to nearly 100 students on the ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) is impacting jobs, industries — and their future as business leaders.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) AI Concentration:
The new Artificial Intelligence (AI) concentration in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. In today’s technology-driven world, organizations are using AI to make informed, data-driven decisions. The AI concentration will allow students to learn the fundamentals of AI and prepare for management positions overseeing AI projects.
Fairfield Dolan’s customizable MBA offers students to tailor their coursework to their career at hand. The MBA AI concentration will give student’s a distinctive experience to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in the AI space that is leveraged virtually in every career path.
“An MBA in AI bridges the gap between technical AI knowledge and business acumen. It helps data analytics to support strategic decision-making. A Dolan MBA in AI prepares graduates for ethical and societal leadership roles in this evolving landscape,” associate professor of marketing and director of the MBA, Mousumi Bose-Godbole, PhD, said.
