The donation comes from Joey Redner, the founder of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, and his wife, Jennifer. Through their gift, the Redners will be supporting ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ students hoping to learn the ropes of the growing brewing arts business and for their love of Bulls football, having followed the team since it was founded in 1997.

Borkowski served as president from 1988 to 1993. During his tenure, ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬â€™s enrollment increased from 30,000 to more than 34,000, research grants increased from $37 million to $60 million and the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Foundation’s endowment grew from $21 million to $61 million.

ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ online graduate programs continue to rank among the nation’s best
Several of the University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬â€™s online graduate programs remain among the top in the country, according to the 2025 Best Online Graduate Programs rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬â€™s highest-ranked program is inside the Top 20 among all public and private universities and another program improved by 24 places to break into the Top 50.
