ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ to rapidly develop technologies for the military with new cutting-edge lab
The Rapid Experimentation Lab, managed by the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Institute of Applied Engineering, puts engineers with different areas of expertise in the same room, dramatically reducing the amount of time it typically takes to build a prototype. It’s part of a five-year, $85 million contract with U.S. Special Operations Command, headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base.
