Kobe Phillips developed a passion for honeybees after finding relief from his severe allergies by eating honey. At ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬, Phillips is working on creating pollinator habitats using bio receptive sculptures and he plans to attend graduate school to focus on further developing these designs.

As an incoming freshman, he started his academic journey through the summer Academic and Cultural Engagement Program, in which he traveled to Costa Rica. Shargo later travelled to the Dominican Republic thanks to his Genshaft Global Presidential Scholarship.
