Catching Up with ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Gubernatorial Fellows Program Alumni
Each year, the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Gubernatorial Fellows Program selects ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ university students for a nine-month tenure in Tallahassee working for and learning from government leaders. The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ alumni of this experiential program are now succeeding in a variety of fields across the country.

ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ School of Geosciences PhD Student Victoria Brown Selected for Boren Fellowship
Victoria Brown is pursuing her PhD in Geography and Environmental Science and Policy with a focus on East African coffee farming. This fall, she will travel to Tanzania to study Swahili and perform research for the 2025-26 academic year through a Boren Fellowship.

Third-year University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ student Ashley Parow, a history and political science double major, was selected for the 2025 Critical Language Scholarship Program to study Arabic language and culture in Amman, Jordan.

This year, Hiram RÃos Hernández was one of 10 alumni aged 35 or under who was recognized for his creative innovation and career success by The Outstanding Young Alumni Awards. Hiram is a recipient of multiple national awards including the Pickering Foreign Affairs Graduate Fellowship.
