November 15, 2022 -- As universities across the United States celebrate International Education Week
               November 14-18, the University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ is being recognized as one of the
               best in the nation for global engagement among students – both for study abroad programs
               and international student enrollment.

               and Tourism Management on the Sarasota-Manatee campus, partnered with Priscila Veiga
               dos Santos, a professor of food science at the Universidade Estadual Paulista in São

                  Report Rankings
September 12, 2022 -- The University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ has hit an all-time high on U.S. News & World Report’s (U.S. News) annual ranking of the best colleges in America.  In the new rankings
               released today, ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ sits at No. 42 among all public universities and No. 97 among
               all universities public or private.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬
               has ranked in the top 50 public universities and the first time ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ has broken into
               the top 100 among all universities.

Interdisciplinary ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Team is Awarded U.S. Embassy Grant for Collaborative Tourism
                  Research in ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ and Serbia 
July 27, 2022 -- ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ hospitality and tourism faculty and students will travel to Serbia in the
               fall of 2022 as part of a $98,000 U.S. Embassy University Partnership grant awarded
               to an interdisciplinary team of ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ researchers from the Patel College for Global
               Sustainability, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, the Muma College
               of Business, and the Access 3D Lab.

ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ ranks in the top 10 for Fulbright scholars
March 1, 2022 -- According to the U.S. Department of State, the University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ is
               tied for seventh nationally for the number of Fulbright scholars for the 2021-2022
               period. The ranking, first published by , shows no other ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ university produced more Fulbright scholars than ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬. This
               is the eighth consecutive year that ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ ranks among the top university sponsors of
               Faculty Fulbright Awards nationally.
