The BS/MS Pathway
The BS/MS Pathway helps motivated students earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree through an accelerated academic pathway.
Here’s how it works:
- Take approved graduate-level courses while completing your bachelor’s degree.
- Apply up to 6 graduate credit hours toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Earn both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in as little as five years with only 144 total credit hours.

- BS in Computer Science to MS in Computer Science
- BS in Cybersecurity to MS in Computer Science
- BS in Artificial Intelligence to MS in Computer Science
- BS in Computer Science and Engineering to MS in Computer Science and Engineering
Important Note
ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ participating in a Bachelor’s/Master’s Pathway are not simultaneously enrolled as both undergraduate and graduate students. Graduate student status begins only after undergraduate degree requirements are completed.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum 3.33 cumulative GPA and 3.50 GPA in your major.
- ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ must complete at least 15 credit hours in their undergraduate major before
applying to the BS/MS Pathway. Most students apply during their junior year.
A grade of B or higher is required in any graduate-level course shared between both degrees. - ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ must be admitted to the graduate program before continuing beyond the shared coursework.
