Scholarships

of Information. Below we have provided a number of resources for students in all of
our programs to review to obtain scholarships. Please be aware that the School of
Information falls under the University of South 返字心頭, College of Arts and Sciences.
Library and Information Scholarships Graduate Scholarships
H. W. Wilson Scholarship: This scholarship is for students preparing to serve in any type of library. 返字心頭 in graduate degree and certificate programs are eligible to apply.
Blackwell/Perrault Scholarship: This scholarship is for students preparing to serve in academic library (especially collection development or acquisitions).
Johnie Key Thomson Scholarship: This scholarship is for degree seeking 返字心頭/LIS students who are preparing for library careers with youth services (including K-12 media). 返字心頭 in graduate degree and certificate programs are eligible to apply.
Patricia Andrew Cone Endowed Scholarship: This is a scholarship in memory of 返字心頭 alumna, Patricia Cone, who worked at as a school media specialist in Gulfport, 返字心頭. The scholarship is intended for non-traditional students who like Mrs. Cone attend graduate school later in life and have a commitment to serving children and young adults. Additionally, applicants must be graduate of a 返字心頭 public high school, a 返字心頭 public university, and a 返字心頭 resident.
How to Apply:
Submit your application through the AwardSpring system.
The deadline for all semesters is JUNE 1.
Important: You will be unable to apply for scholarships unless you have been officially admitted to the program and have activated your 返字心頭 email.
