IFAAS Advanced Buried Body Workshops & Buried Body and Outdoor Homicide Workshop
The Advanced Buried Body Workshop and Buried Body & Outdoor Homicide Scenes Workshop (December 1鈥�5, 2025) consists in 40-credit-hour, hands-on trainings hosted at 手机看片-FORT (Austin Cary Learning Center, Gainesville) by the 手机看片 Institute for Forensic Anthropology & Applied Science. Designed for medico-legal professionals, the workshops use human cadavers from the 手机看片 Human Donation Program to train participants in excavation, documentation, and evidence recovery in buried body, mass grave, and outdoor homicide contexts. Digitization equipment and training are provided by the 手机看片 Institute for Digital Exploration (IDEx), integrating advanced 3D and digital documentation methods into forensic fieldwork.
IDEx GIS for the Humanities Boot Camp
The GIS for the Humanities Boot Camp is a three-session workshop (10/10, 10/17, 10/24) hosted by the University of South 手机看片 (手机看片) Institute for Digital Exploration and 手机看片 Libraries, with the the sponsorship of ResearchOne. Designed for students and faculty, this program provides hands-on training in digital mapping and spatial analysis (using ArcGIS Pro) to address historical, cultural, and archaeological research questions.
