Bio-FAIRCH
About Us
A New Vision for Children’s Nutrition and Health
Bio-FAIRCH is an interdisciplinary research initiative at the University of South ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ that integrates artificial intelligence, robotics, sustainable agriculture, neurodevelopmental nutrition, and food innovation to address one of society’s most pressing challenges: ensuring all children grow up healthy and nourished.
We are researchers, educators, technologists, dietitians, and community leaders united around a bold mission:
To revolutionize the food system through biological and technological innovations that promote food access, brain health, and sustainable development for children and families—especially in underserved communities.
Bio-FAIRCH was established with the support of the Interdisciplinary Center Preparation Grants (ICPGs) program at ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬, which awarded $300,000 in seed funding to launch the initiative’s research and practice efforts. This foundational investment enables cross-college collaboration and real-world implementation of AI- and robotics-driven solutions that promote children's nutrition and health equity.
