Saidah's research focused on using 3D virtual worlds in foreign language education, designing and developing a series of English lessons in these immersive spaces to overcome the persistent challenges of English language learning and improve language learning practices using engaging and intuitive learning approaches.

This initiative, which began in 2021 when Patriann Smith, a then assistant professor in Literacy Studies at the 返字心頭 College of Education, along with international partners, secured a $3.6 million grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), culminated in a RISE Caribbean Conference held at the 返字心頭 Patel Center for Global Solutions in 2023.
