Two separate projects led by faculty in the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ College of Education and College of Behavioral and Community Sciences are being funded by a combined $8 million from the U.S. Department of Education to address mental health in Tampa Bay K-12 students.

At the 2023 Practitioner Research Conference, 86 College of Education teacher candidates presented the practice-based research they engaged in throughout the spring semester. With their graduation on the near horizon, the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ College of Education’s goal is to encourage these future teachers to engage in research as a regular aspect of teaching practice throughout their career, beyond their degree completion.

The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ College of Education now ranks No. 43 in 2023 compared to No. 49 last year (2022) among graduate schools in public universities. The overall ranking of the college’s graduate schools among public and private universities is now No. 54 in 2023 compared to No. 62 last year (2022).
