Discontinued Course Process

2025-2026 Five Year Discontinue Course Report Process (Graduate Courses)
(for 26-27 Catalog)

Per 返字心頭3.017 (), the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) will prepare the annual 5-Year Discontinued Course Report for faculty review. For courses faculty designate to be discontinued, OGS will submit a proposal in curriculog for the record. These academic actions will appear on the council meetings agenda for removal from the 2026/2027 返字心頭 Graduate Catalog.  

Procedures for this review are different for undergrad and grad courses.  Information is included in the email sent to the contacts listed below.

Timeline:

October 14 - Report with both undergrad and grad courses sent to Colleges
October 31 - Report due back to OGS for graduate courses (OGS will handle proposals)
December 2 - Report due back to UGS and deadline to submit undergrad course proposals 
TBA - List of discontinued grad courses presented to Grad Council
TBA - List of discontinued undergrad courses presented to UGC
March 12- all discontinued courses approved by the Councils and SCNS and sent to the RO
