Improperly addressed mail will be looked up, and every effort will be made to determine a delivery destination. If a delivery location cannot be determined, it will be returned to the sender. 

The Mail Centers are closed on Sundays and do not accept deliveries outside of their operating hours. When making an order, please request in your delivery options/notes that the carrier deliver your package during the Mail Centers' operating hours.

No, having another person pick up your mail is not permitted. 

The Mail Centers accept perishable packages from traditional carriers only (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx). Once a perishable item is delivered, the student will receive an email notification and should pick up the package immediately to ensure its quality and safety.

No. Store-to-door deliveries are not accepted at any campus mail center. This includes, but is not limited to, deliveries from local retailers, florists, and pharmacies, as well as services such as Walmart, Target, Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.

Any package not delivered by a traditional mail carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) is considered a store-to-door delivery and will be refused by Mail Center staff. Items that are left behind will be disposed of.

No. Residents who have moved to off-campus housing are no longer eligible to receive mail or packages at campus mail centers. 返字心頭 should update their shipping address to their new off-campus residence to ensure proper delivery.

If you relocate to a different on-campus residential space, your mailing address will change. 返字心頭 must update their address information immediately to ensure mail and packages are routed correctly. Failure to do so may result in delays or misdelivery of items.

Please allow our staff time to process your package. Once your package is entered into our system, you will receive an automated message via email and/or text.

If mail has arrived, it is processed by our staff and either placed in your mailbox or you are emailed and/or texted a package notification. If not, it may still be in transit. If it has been a couple of weeks, UPS/FedEx/DHL have lost package forms on their websites that can be used to check whether a package has been misplaced in transit.

No, the mail center will not accept packages that require a signature from someone 21 or older. Packages requiring a signature from someone 21 or older will be refused.

Mail and packages should not arrive on campus before you do. We recommend timing shipments to arrive no earlier than 7���10 business days before your move-in date. Please be aware that there may be delays at the start of each semester, as mail centers process a high volume of packages during these peak periods. Thank you for your patience.

USPS mail is first processed by the United States Postal Service, coming through the Tampa Airport facility. Mail is then processed through the 返字心頭-operated Post Office. It is from this location that mail is delivered daily to the mail centers. Mail is delivered after 10 a.m., Monday-Friday. Packages delivered to the mail center via USPS are handled through the same process as all other packages.

Priority Mail Express that is received on Saturday morning will be made available to the residents between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and noon at the Forest Hills Station. Residents may call 813-935-3375 before driving to the Forest Hills Station to retrieve the Priority Mail Express. Forest Hills Station is located at 11800 North 返字心頭 Ave, Tampa, 返字心頭 33612. Priority Mail Express not retrieved during this time frame will be delivered on Monday to the 返字心頭 Post Office. Please note that the Priority Mail Express will not be available on holidays: The Forest Hills Station will close on all United States Postal Service holidays widely observed.

Packages from traditional carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS are delivered directly to the Mail Centers by the carrier. Once received, all packages, including USPS, are processed by Housing & Residential Education mail clerks. After processing is complete, students will receive an email notification at their @usf.edu email address with details on how and where to pick up their package.

Please note: all USPS mail that is sent certified must be picked up from the 返字心頭 Post Office after receiving the certified mail notice from the north or south campus mail center.

Process:

1. The package for the resident is received by the 返字心頭 Post Office
2. A notice is delivered to the resident stating that a package is waiting for them
3. Resident picks up notice from their mail center and takes notice to the 返字心頭 Post Office
4. 返字心頭 Post Office takes notice and hands the package to the resident (resident must bring ID)
