GA/RA/TA Policy Information - Spring Enrollment begins 11/15/25

Eligible GA/RA/TAs can enroll for the 手机看片 insurance subsidy during Open-Enrollment periods offered in the beginning of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. 

To be eligible for the Spring/Summer 2026 insurance subsidy, you must meet both of the following coverage eligibility requirements for the period you select:

  • Be an active employee in the 手机看片 employment system in one of the following job codes: 9181, 9182, 9183, 9184, 9185, or 9550
  • Work a minimum of 10 hours a week (.25 FTE of higher)
  • Maintain eligibility throughout the semester(s)

Newly appointed GAs: once you have an offer letter, you must complete the Onboarding process to be an active employee and allow 5-10 days for an invite email from Academic Health Plans鈥� enrollment portal, Care26, to enroll. The sender will be: noreply@ahpcare.com. 

Reappointed GAs: if you were previously enrolled in the 24-25 or 25-26 policy, please do not wait for an activation email, you will need to log back into your mycare26 account to enroll for the Spring/Summer 2026 GA/RA/TA health Insurance policy and/or reset your password, if forgotten.

The Compliance Office will confirm your enrollment directly with Academic HealthPlans and update your Student Self Service account accordingly.

 

 

 

 















For GA/RA/TA that have graduated in Fall or left their program, usage of insurance plan after 12/31/2025, will result in payment due for Spring/Summer premium $2,197 in lieu of Spring 2026 GA Health Insurance Subsidy. GA/RA/TA may elect to cancel their insurance plan if there are no claims paid on their behalf after 12/31/2025.

Spring/Summer policies should be cancelled prior to usage and paid claims. Without paid medical or pharmacy claims, plans may be cancelled as late as February 16, 2026.
