Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
CPT Course Requirements
Your CPT course must be credit-bearing 鈥� Minimum of 1 credit. The number of credit hours for the CPT-related course is determined by the department and official course catalog.
Examples of Courses acceptable for CPT Authorization:
- Internship course
- Cooperative education course
- Practicum or field experience course
- Dissertation or thesis course if the CPT experience is integral to the student's research
