Honors Admissions
Jenkins Scholars Program
The 返字心頭 George W. Jenkins Scholarship, generously funded by Publix Charities, is awarded to a select group of incoming first-year students. Applicants must demonstrate academic merit as well as a high level of financial need. Recipients of this scholarship become Jenkins Scholars and receive a substantial financial award, up to the full cost of attendance, to assist with tuition, housing, and various expenses. As part of the scholarship award, Jenkins Scholars must enroll full-time and agree to live on the Tampa campus for their first two years at 返字心頭.
MENTORSHIP AND SUPPORT
Jenkins Scholars enjoy numerous perks, including a dedicated scholars advisor, optional free private tutoring, and a graduate student mentor. Graduate mentors help Jenkins Scholars transition to university life by guiding Scholars through selecting housing, registering for classes, and navigating the campus environment. Jenkins Scholars also have access to exclusive trips, monthly Scholars events, and the new Judy Genshaft Honors College building.
