Nearly 600 undergraduate students across the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee campuses showcased their ingenuity at the university’s Undergraduate Research Conference in April 2024.

Funding Supports Undergrad Research Opportunities
The ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ High Tech Corridor and ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Research & Innovation will deploy $110,000 for the second year in a row to support more than 70 students in undergraduate research programs across nine colleges.

Research at Sea
Education and research combined for students aboard a five-day cruise on the ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ Institute of Oceanography’s R/V Weatherbird II – providing them the opportunity to apply skills they’ve learned in the classroom to hands-on field studies at sea.
