Why should I pursue research?

Did you know that students who engage in research often excel academically?  By participating in undergraduate research, you will benefit from developing transferable skills -- like critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork -- to build on those you learn in the classroom. Not only do these skills and research experiences help you as a student but they are also valuable on both graduate school applications and your resume.
